U-Pol Raptor Liner
I wanted to give a quick shout out to Raptor Liner as I just wrapped up installation of front tube fenders, sliders, and rear corners. I decided to bed line everything for durability reasons, plus it looks pretty awesome. Their "DIY" kit comes with 4 quart bottles of liner, a bottle of har...

Re: I put my Woody in the front, then I finished in the rear
I had to hold the baby so mommy could use the restroom...great job parenting! Funny part is I hadn't even spoken to the woman before that, she said I looked like I was good with kids. As long as I'm in MA, I'll have a 'gansett please! :D Yep, that's Boston burger company. If you haven't tried...

I put my Woody in the front, then I finished in the rear
A write-up on this probably isn't needed for most of you guys but I figured I'd put it together anyway for kicks. Quick overview of installing Tom Woods 1310 driveshafts. Install is pretty easy, maybe a 2/5 on the Quadratec scale  Air tools will definitely make your life a good bit easier here,...

Re: Shock Valving
Yeah so it looks like there was a typo on their website, the 60/40 that was listed as their stock valving is supposed to read 40/60, and this will be the ideal setup for me unless I want to firm up to 50/70. Thinking I'll go ahead with the 40/60 for starters, a revalve job is pretty cheap, if I feel...

Re: Shock Valving
Agreed the skinny pedal definitely is in play a lot here with the slick rock, still fairly certain I'll be wanting a stiffer rebound than compression, yes? Still waiting to hear back from RK, their shock guy was out at EJS and then down at Jeep Beach so apparently has a lot of catching up to do. Won...

Shock Valving
I'm moving forward with a long-arm upgrade with 3-link rear through RK, also going with a front coilover conversion. "Off the shelf" valving for all of their shocks is a 60/40, which I don't think is what I'm really going to want for rock crawling. I know ideally I'm going to want a firmer...

Lifted JK? This is in your future...
Well, I knew it was coming, didn't think it would be this soon. If you know JK's, you know if you lift 3" or more a new front driveshaft is in your future. The factory CV joint (xfer case side) isn't built to operate at much of an angle, plus the shaft diameter is so wide it contacts the exhaus...

Re: New from Somerville
Wow, actually got around to putting my application in the mail today. Envelopes, stamps, didn't realize things like that existed
I'm just glad there was a Pay-Pal option 'cause I haven't had a checkbook in years! ![Help! SOS! :confusion-helpsos:](./images/smilies/confusion/helpsos.gif)

Re: Beadlocks and 40's
if it were a trailer queen i would say go 40's with that set up but being a dd i would stick to a 37. i big issue you will have is balljoints. i personally run 37 on my buggy with 44's but i like to give it the skinny pedal at times. if you are going to run 40's i would carry a extra unit bearing a...

Re: Beadlocks and 40's
I know you probably don't want to hear this, but if you actually run the trails that require 40's, you probably should have saved the coin and built a Dana 60... May have to agree to disagree here. The JK D44 is significantly stronger than previous models including a larger ring gear (8.9") an...
