Re: Dyna Beads
Yeah they're trail only...just being thorough I guess. I'll have a look at the air soft pellets, thanks.

Dyna Beads
Anyone use Dyna Beads for tire balancing? Thinking about going with these when I mount my stickies. About $18/tire for the bead packs so its just a bit more than having a shop do it.

 next time out I flop it. Guaranteed :D I'm sure these stickies are going to take some getting used too. Right now I'm used to a healthy amount of wheel spin and skinny pedal. Looking forward to being able to crawl to tougher stuff more efficiently now. I am a bit worried about the stock locker...

Holy crap dude. That's a lot of $ in rubber for your first Jeep. Looks pretty good to me though (and I'm not a fan of body armor or bling). They weren't cheap, but I definitely didn't pay anywhere close to the listed price, that would be crazy. I wanted to get better traction on the tougher obstacl...

Might as well add here. Since I found out the Daystar Stinger bump stops aren't going to work without some serious work, I decided to just go with some simple urethane ones and fab a bracket for them...so while I was down there I climbed up the ramp to get measurements. First time I've fully flexed ...

Got the call yesterday, new metal and meat had arrived. I ordered a set of Maxxis Trepador stickies 37x12.50, and some Spyderlock beadlocks. I used Doctor Wheels down in Yarmouth for drop shipping since I can't really find anywhere locally that will let me do it. Mark and Kris are great people and h...

4:1 T-CASE/TOM WOODS DRIVESHAFT
It's reviews like these about Woods' service that led me to pony up the extra $$ and go with their drivelines after I blew my front up.

Re: fuel caddy
For storing in the trailer, looks like a great idea. Since most of the space it takes up is vertical it shouldn't really take up much room. I've been contemplating some Rotopax cans to mount on the heep, but I've honestly never used more than a 1/2 tank on a trail ride, even on a full day run so it ...

Good deal going on at Advance Auto Parts
I'm generally a fan of Advance also for lots of small ticket/maintenance items. Their tool loaner program is nice too.

Re: River Raider Armor Install
Typically, on for example a TJ/YJ/CJ recessed light, you simply make a bigger and/or different hole, leaving the rest of the surrounding tub intact. My thought that because the rear factory cage hoop uses this area for support, it may be compromised a bit. The main subframe is intact, like you said...

Re: River Raider Armor Install
Looks good. I realize the rear tail light is recessed, but it seems that cutting away the entire rear quarter defeats the purpose of protecting it. That said, (and knowing that the armor is now the quarter panel), shouldn't you just weld the armor the body for ultimate strength? Good point about th...

Nicely done! Digging the black n white combo! I was thinking about doing the bed-liner on my grille aswell. Yours came out awesome Thanks. I used Raptor Liner (link in the review I did.) Its easy to spray, and finished really nicely. Only downside to it is there is a 5-7 day wait for "full cur...

River Raider Armor Install
I've been done with this for a few weeks now but I figured I'd do a quick write up of the install. The object here obviously was to protect the body as much as possible from damage before it happens. I gotta say its a major pain to take on any job that's more than a day's work without having a garag...

Hey, sorry it took a little while to get these pictures up. Here's a close up of the front fender: http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n556/dwood0125/13452f77.jpg And a bit further back. I did my fenders, sliders, and rear corners with it: http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n556/dwood0125/71b8b895....
