Re: JLU Rubicon Mopar 2” Lift
One problem you will find with 37's and 2" lift is the rear wheel well inner liners. At certain articulation they rub.
My solution was to remove lower liner, heat gun upper, pushing it back and custom cut a semi trailer mudflap to fit inside the well.

Re: JLU Rubicon Mopar 2” Lift
Congrats. I installed the 2.5" Metalcloak lift and 37's on my JLUR, along with a UPS truckload of skids and a winch that added almost four hundred lbs to weigh me down. I also replaced front driveshaft with a longer Tom Woods as suggested by mfg. Happy to report only occasional dragging on most...

Re: Let's have a friendly contest!
I am sure FCA has its hands full these days but there is a popular Jeep enthusiast YouTuber who recently got his apparel shutdown by FCA because it included a picture/liking of a JK, violating intellectual property [IP] laws. Crazy but true. This is why some fabricators use six or eight slots on the...

Re: Let's have a friendly contest!
Take two with goals to (a) not violate Jeep trademarks and (b) offer a simple design that will transfer large or small on hats, shirts, etc.

Re: Let's have a friendly contest!
Look closely....The b is an upside-down p. The s is a chopped up e. The J...obvious. And keeping all "J" members in mind including XJ and ZJ in mind, go with the roots...a willys.

Re: Wow great day 3/14 in Winchedon, Ma
Yes. This newb and passenger had a great time. Perfect first run with good people and weather for old man retractable roofs, even if I didn't get to turn my lockers on. Thanks for the opportunity. Very much looking (locking?) forward to future runs and participating in the club in other ways as soon...

Re: Waitlisted and counting in Concord MA
Thanks Lisa. It's a work in progress that has left me with a pile of JLU parts growing in my basement that I eventually need to move out - Rubicon springs, shocks, uca's, lca's, track bars, skid bars, rock rails, front driveshaft, etc. All with less than 7k miles on them.

Re: Rocker steps on or off?
Thanks Randy. I'm totally on board that undercarriage will never look as good as is does now. And while most of my offroading has been rocky/muddy logging roads in VT woods and sandy Monomoy beaches with my LR4, I am hoping not to face a level 7 trail on my first JL run. Looking forward to learning ...

Re: Rocker steps on or off?
Thanks for the feedback so far guys. I was leaning towards flipping them so they are straight out. to maintain the protection. This brings me to another burning newbie question, which may already be answered in this forum: What trail rating(s) are we talking about when it comes to post-spring meetin...

Rocker steps on or off?
Morning folks. Newbie here looking for advise to maximize protection and minimize parts removal before or during my first "try before you buy" trail run in just over a week. As part of my JLUR build, I purchased rock rails from MetalCloak which come with steps that can be installed three w...

Re: Waitlisted and counting in Concord MA
Looked at it. Thanks. Unfortunately, overhead JK setup will not fit my JL with retractable SkyTouch soft top. Need to go with grab-handle or dash mounted keypad
