Re: New Wait lister from Princeton MA

Congrats. So many JL options offered [but unfortunately on back order] these days which were simply not available two years ago.

Re: New Wait lister from Princeton MA

Here is my setup. Note I do not have Maximus 3 reinforcement bracket installed to allow hoop to tie into frame. My Warn 10 sits too big in the bumper to allow for it. That's why my hoop is just cosmetic.

Re: New Wait lister from Princeton MA

Nice looking Jeep LOL love the color. I have a question for you I have the same bumper setup waiting on my new winch and warn winch plate to arrive and have been debating on the front bar to get a stock one or a warn one. Can’t tell from the picture what one you have and if you like it. I was leani...

Re: New Wait lister from Princeton MA

Yes. I am doing my best to stick with both front and rear stock steel bumpers. I do not see the need to replace, especially the front as they function and look pretty good to me. And while I'm not a big fan of the open front hooks for recover, the winch solves that concern. I did remove the front bu...

Thanks guys. I ended up ordering both the skid plate kit + rocker rails tonight and surprisingly shipping said $0.
Congrats Nick. See you on the trails. And don’t forget to sign up for MC Owners Club FB page. Lots of good info which is monitored by MC engineers, installers and of course users.

Re: JLUR Armor Suggestions

If you plan to order MC, make sure you take advantage of one of their 10% off with free shipping sales. Not sure when their next one will be but you can contact them to find out. Never pay full price and shipping with them. Easter probably Good point Randy and very likely. In fact, many suppliers a...

Re: JLUR Armor Suggestions

No fitment issues on my ‘18 JLUR. And as a 2020 newb, I appreciated my MC protection... Mike, is this the one you got? https://metalcloak.com/undercloak-integrated-armor-system-jl-wrangler-4-door-3-6-motor.html Does that cover everything in your photo? Yes. That’s the one BUT I also added their FAD...

Re: Research on JLU lift and tire combo

Lisa takes the best shots for posers like me. 8-) I cannot say enough good things about my MC Gamechanger and the way it handles on the trails and highways. Granted it was not cheap but that’s because it replaces just about everything at once. Longer springs and sway bar links aside, the system incl...

Re: New Wait lister from Princeton MA

Welcome Gerry. Nice to see another JLUR, especially granite crystal. I think that makes four, possibly five.

2021 JLUR 392 - Who's in?

I am a bit surprised this has not already been posted given how much we all love this stuff. Below is a link to a Hagerty review which covers most of the 392’s tech that matter the most (i.e., not the color of the dash or available half doors). It would seem from the outside looking in that Jeep dev...

Re: Happy 245th Birthday

Absolutely!! Thanks to all of you in the club [and on the waiting list] for standing on that wall!! And those in the cancel culture may not get it, but it is the unselfish service of each one of you that allows me and my family to have so many of the freedoms in our lives....including hitting the sk...

Re: Need help diagnosing steering problem

Too funny. Same bolt.

And when I got under my rig Sunday morning morning after noticing my steering was off from straight a couple degrees post cookout run, I found my MC drag link nuts loose. Oops....

Straightened the wheel then tightened everything back up with vigor.

Re: Need help diagnosing steering problem

Grant, have you fixed your DW problem yet? I have similar setup with Metalcloak GameChanger 2.5” and recently replaced my stock steering linkage with MC drag link, tie rod an steering stabilizer relo. While I do not currently have death wobble, I did shortly after the stabilizer relo. Turned out I n...
