Re: Jeep "friendly" inspection garages
Thanks guys, I totally appreciate the point. I wasn't too clear in my initial post - I'm wasn't looking for a shop to break the law, just one reads the law as it's written. I just went down the road to where I take my wife a daughters car and got no trouble.
See you out there,
Joey

Jeep "friendly" inspection garages
Het everyone, Got some flat fenders since the last inspection and the local jeep dealer - after "promising" to get it done, did not... only a 2 1/2" lift but the front fenders leave about 2-3 inches of the tire exposed. Rear tires seem to be ok. Where do you all go that might not be s...

Re: M.O.R.E. oil pan/tranny skid plate

M.O.R.E. oil pan/tranny skid plate
Hey everyone, I just installed the M.O.R.E. oil pan/tranny skid plate on my '17 JK. Part of the installation is to remove the crossmember that blocks the installation of the rear of the skid plate. In their installation instructions it says nothing about removing it (therefore nothing about re-insta...

Rear axel breather tube
Hey guys, I was looking over my '17 JKU rear end the other day and noticed that the breather tube is falling into the spring coil. it looks like my options are to loosely zip-tie it to keep it out of the way, or shorten it a couple of inches. My question is; how much play/extension does it need? I'd...

Cb radios v FRS
I'm new to the group and all signed up for the 101 in a couple of weeks. I've got a CB, but it looks like you guys are using FRS radios. I don't know much about either radios, but the little do know (or guess) is that CBs can't communicate with FRS radios - different frequencies or something. Is tha...
