Re: New from Somerville
Are you rich?! :) You've put a lot of money into that JK. Looks killer though. The blower must really wake up that motor. I was on the fence about the club for awhile too but once I joined and went on a run I was kicking myself for not joining earlier. It is short money and the runs are usually FREE...

Re: AEV Brute Doublecab...

While a tow rating has a lot more to do with weight, brakes, transmission, cooling etc than just the engine, it seems that the Unlimi...

Re: Brand New Rubicon Owner - First Jeep
skid, as in heavy duty metal plates that skid over rocks and stumps to protect the fragile bits under the Jeep. With a Rubicon you are very well prepared from the factory, but there is always room for improvement. I don't have a Wrangler so I'll leave the specifics to the other guys. She is a very p...

Yeah these are a set it and forget it sort of thing as long as rust doesn't get a hold of it. I second the bad flare...and that this has been leaking since you replaced the line.

Re: Drum Brakes - Help!
The seal the the part of the cylinder that the piston touches. It is probably okay but as he said you're going to have to bleed it. This is where it could go south. The bleeders gut rusted in the cylinder and snap when you try to unscrew them leaving you having to replace it anyway. So try to loosen...

Re: Fathers day run
BTW 88jeepxj it was great to meet you yesterday, nice to place a face with the name. It was great meeting you and your family. They seem to enjoy wheeling almost as much as you do! Thanks for a tug over that muddy uphill section. I think I could have made it but it was nice having the strap connect...

Re: Fathers day run
You can say that again, a lot harder than expected. I'm kinda shocked Kermit (my green XJ) made it through and all the way back home! I tried explaining the difficulty to my wife but the pictures I took make boulders look like little rocks and really steep sections look like my driveway...it really ...
