Well Hello Adam.
Welcome to the club. It sounds like though a mall crawler it’s still a good start to a solid off road rig. Hopefully we will catch you on some trails this year and who knows.... maybe even a beach.

Hello Adam, My Manual 6sp JK had 4.88s and I was very happy with that. To give you an idea my manual JK on 37" Nittos was around 2550 rpm at 70 mph. Automatic has a slightly different OD ratio. Auto is .83 vs .0797 on the manual. The auto will run about 100 RPM higher at 70 mph than the manual.

That’s the way to go. Wheel it and decide your weaknesses. Build from there.
Hope to see you on the trail!

Hello Ryan,
Welcome to the forum and soon the club. Good luck with the build! A lot of people have put together some really nice Gladiators which is why I can’t buy one. Can’t afford another build and they look way too nice on 40” tires! Haha...

Re: has anyone dropped a lunchbox locker in a JKU?
Easy to install and takes about an hour but.... they suck in the rear axle! Off road in 4 wheel drive they are fine but driving around as a daily they cause a lot of drivability issues. The problem is any throttle input while taking a corner and they lock. In the front this isn’t an issue because th...

Re: Let’s talk skid plates
I’ve run some cheap Smittybilt steel skids with a Rough Country tank skid. They worked perfectly fine and took all the hits in stride. I did an LS swap and went to RockHard’s aluminum skids. No worries in the least bit they will take everything I throw at them. Pricy? Oh yes! The opposite of the Smi...

Re: JP Magazine (Kind of Bummed)
There is a couple mags I subscribed to with JP being one of them. They supposedly will continue online but I like to hold the mag in my hand. Definitely bums me out!

Some how I missed this till today... Welcome to the club and unfortunately Mass. Great group of people here in the club and always a good time out wheeling. Boy is the terrain going to be different up here in the Northeast but fun none the less. Nice rig you have there and the grip of those tires is...

If you have Facebook keep an eye on Offroad Elements page. they do offer flash sales on tires fairly frequently. they are down in Abington MA so you will likely need to pay sales tax, they have a new shop now so they might be able to mount and balance them as well now. Nice people that run the plac...
