Re: FRS radio

I thought that all I needed was Privacy codes (a CTCSS codes and/or DCS codes) for the channels that we will be using. I can set them manually as long as I know what they are. Thanks!

Re: Places to Wheel This Weekend?

Ralph, Thanks for the response. I am aware of the reschedule of Jeep 101 but was just looking for a location to wheel that would not be in violation of the Tread Lightly guidelines. I had set aside the time and wanted to see if there was a location to consider going to with a few other people. If th...

Places to Wheel This Weekend?

Hello Forum Members, I was wondering if there were any places to wheel this weekend in place of the Jeep 101. I am looking for a location that is basic and that would not be muddy due to the snow melt and rains. I have looked around and noticed that most public access locations are closed during the...

Re: Rock sliders

Take a look at the MetalCloak Overline Rocker Rails. They are very solid. I have them installed on the 2017 JKUR but have not had a chance to put them through their paces. I have a few friends that have them installed and they have held up very well. I can let you know personally how they hold up in...

CB Radio Recommenations

Hello Forum Members, I am new to Baystate Jeepers and will need to install a CD Radio in my 2017 JKUR. I am curious what you guys are using for CB radios? I saw a few others posts about antenna placement and radio mounting but but how about the actual CB radio itself. Any thoughts on the Cobra 75 WX...

Re: New Member

Hey Brad . Hope to meet soon. Great start to your build. Do some research on the newer front axles like yours with big tires. There are weld in kits to keep them from bending as they have made them lighter over the years. It will help in the long run. Mine (avatar) Is a 74 , CJ5 and her name is Mon...

Hello Baystate Jeepers, I recently purchased my first Jeep after months and months of research and am now looking to learn more about how to safely drive it off-road. I have done some minor off-road driving in a stock Toyota Sequoia but only on fire roads and access roads. I am the proud owner of a ...
