I went with the Gobi Stealth with quick release, Hi-Lift mounts, axe/shovel (paddle) mounts and two removable crossbars for my Kayak racks.

I have a Gobi on my 2D. Great rack and worth every penny I paid for it.
The cross bars are designed for Yakima mounts. Not sure if Thule has adapters for round bar.

Like Paul said, check your ball joints.
Also check the torque on your track bar and control arm bolts and jam nuts.

Not sure which is stronger or better but I went with the 1310 flange style on my JK.
One less step and it was a good flat surface for my angle finder to dial in my pinion angle.

I got a set of Adams shafts from Northridge. Adams has great reviews, excellent customer service and cheaper then the others (at the time I bought them anyway) I got the Extreme Duty 1310 with solid Spicer joints.
