Re: Stock or upgrade - Rubicon D44 front axle

Hardest part is taking knuckles apart to get them in, depending how rusty and seized up things are. Have plenty of Kroil (or whatever penetrant) and a torch handy

Re: Rear diff smear

That’s all it takes. If you ordered a stock cover grind down the bottom edge so it doesn’t extend past the axle housing, this will prevent peeling back the cover when dragging over the rocks. That’s another common cause of leaks

Re: Squeaking noise after JLUR lift install

Speaking of hangars, Carols jeep was making a similar noise after messing with the exhaust and it was the hangar rubbing in the frame. Jiggle the tailpipe and see if it does it

Glad you finally got them. I’ve had mine a couple years now and beat the crap out of them and they hold up fine

Re: JLU Rubicon Mopar 2” Lift

I am thinking about installing 35” Wildpeak tires on 18” wheels shortly after Any reason for the increase to 18" wheels? Personally, I'd stick to 17's for the extra sidewall, cheaper tires, and availability of choices, but I'm curious as to if you're trying to clear some massive brakes/suspens...

Re: JLU Rubicon Mopar 2” Lift

Track bar has more to do with lift and not tire size. Most decent lifts come with track bar relocation brackets that lift and position itself to use the stock track bars. Both my wife and I have 3”+ lifts and use stock track bars.

No idea. Maybe the draglink center link rotated? I’ll put paint lines and see if they move
