Armor is important, some good skids will allow you to just slide over the rocks instead of getting hung up on them so much. Look around on a site such as Northridge for armor and skids. Tough call. Metal ones will cause body damage and winters will be harsh on them. If you wheel enough you will wack them eventually, they can take a hit better but will cause worse damage then plastic ever will

Looking good, those skids should protect those shocks fine. I just raised my rears and added skids too, can’t have too much skid
