Re: Next wrenchfest?

Choosing a lift can be tough, there are a bunch of them out there on the market. You have a newer Jeep, I would spend more money on a better one to maintain or improve the ride. If you are only looking to spend a couple hundred bucks I would look at the EVO leveling kit and some decent shocks, but t...

I get most of my stuff from NorthRidge 4x4. They have free fast shipping and website is well layed out. Coupon code ‘comeback’ is often good for some sort of discount.

Re: New Guy From Norton MA

Welcome! In Corporate aviation we refer pilots to as ‘window lickers’, but that’s just a term on endearment. LJ is a great choice, I might have gone that way if I knew I was going to wheel as much as I do.

Re: Need an Armor Recommendation

Best thing you can do is get rid of the correction brackets and get some adjustable lower control arms, that will keep them out of the rocks. The factory mounts should still be in good shape due to the correction brackets so you can use some weld on skids to help protect. The factory mounts are pret...

Re: NEA Fall Crawl 2018 Pictures and Video

Carol and I regret not being able to attend. Always a good time wheeling and hanging out with this bunch. As it turns out my trip to Colorado was pushed back a week and wasn’t sure if they excepted “walk in’s”. We considered swinging by to hang out by the fire but didn’t feel it was right since it w...

Re: Good quality gear storage. Atlas 46

And by the way, while we're on the subject of tools . . . I found this in my tool kit last night. One of those mystery items that you knew was important enough to keep, but not important enough to remember what the heck it is for. I spent a lot of time searching online, but can't figure it out. It'...

Re: Wrenchfest! Now on Saturday

Got the lift done today pretty efficiently I think. Thanks Kurt, you were a big help as always. Carol loves it. It drove as good as stock, just a little stiffer. She’s taking it out for a test drive soon, see if she gets the bug...

True. The JK starts off pretty parallel. At least mine did

Re: Anyone used Kolak Performance?

2”? I don’t think it would matter. What would be the rise of a 2” arc on 36” trackbar? Almost nothing
