Re: M.O.R.E. oil pan/tranny skid plate

If it doesn’t fit back on don’t sweat it. It’s not structural, the manuals didn’t even come with it

Re: M.O.R.E. oil pan/tranny skid plate

I think you are talking about what is considered the transmission “skid plate”. Only the automatics have them so they do not provide any structural benefit

Re: Upgrade time... Lift, disconnects and control arms?

If you're going to wait for your 31’s to wear out, that will take a couple years. I’d spend the money on full skids now and just drag it over everything and lift it when you are ready for new tires.

Re: Tragedy at 2019 Easter Jeep Safari

I was in Moab when that happened. Newish driver tried to climb a little ledge and gave it a little to much skinny peddle. He shot through a group of spectators and lost control. One had to be airlifted out and her leg was partly amputated. That was the rumor.

Re: Tire/Rim Advice for Stock 2015 JK

If you want 33’s you can get by with a 1.5” leveling kit if you don’t want to spend a bunch on a lift

Welcome. Didn’t realize they made windows like that, pretty cool. Make sure you do your homework on the metal flares, they are stronger but will do more damage once they get whacked hard enough and the winters are rough on them.

Re: New here

Should do well with 40’s, 35’s are most common in the club. There will be plenty of trails to challenge you.

Re: Hello From Colorado

I’d love to live there. I’ll be working in Grand Junction a bit in April/May, wish I could ship my Jeep out there Randy, It would be awesome to get the jeep out here. I am about 3 hours south but it would be a short ride for you to meet in Moab. Maybe a rental jeep weekend is in order. Hmmm... Didn...

Re: Please Santa bring me . . .

I’d get a 2 door in a heartbeat if it were available. I’d sacrifice the extra cab space for a useful bed, if I got a truck that long it would have to be able to tow my Jeep on a trailer.
