Rarely see any body damage beyond a popped off fender or broken mirror, even on the tougher properties. Even those could usually be avoided if you keep away from the trees.

Re: Air comp. upgrade
I installed the above ARB system over the weekend, it’s a nice fit under the seat. Not sure if that viair tank I mentioned will fit, the ARB tank was tight all around. To answer the question about the tank drain, even if there was one you would never get to it. When I’m done airing up I’ll just purg...

Re: Air comp. upgrade
Hey Randy, I like that setup, but I can't see any drain valve on the tank. What do you do about the condensation in the tank? I thought about that, you couldn’t get to it very easy the way it’s mounted. The coupler is close to the tank so I’m hoping most of it blows out. The tank is aluminum so the...

Re: Air comp. upgrade
Hank, I found the ARB pump LOUD as heck when it was under the hood in my TJ. How bad is it inside the vehicle when you turn the lockers on? I know it's just a second or two but its a bit loud at least the single pump was... I don’t find mine obnoxiously loud under the passenger seat, the seat and m...

Re: Air comp. upgrade
I researched all the mounts, ruled out under the hood, too much clutter (for me) and will prevent the larger booster/master cylinder if I ever decide to add it to her Jeep. It’s ARB’s mount, designed to mount the tank on. The ARB tank is pricy for what it is, I found another for 1/3 the price that m...

Re: Air comp. upgrade
I considered the power tank but for me it would have been hard to find the time to fill it, even a local place. I usually end up helping others air up so I would have needed to fill the bottle more often. I am currently gathering parts to install into Carols Jeep. Decided to go with all ARB componen...

Don’t think that will work with JK skids. They won’t nest enough

Re: Re-gearing - suggestions?
4.88 with a D30 or 5.13 if it’s a Rubicon. 4.56 isn’t enough for 37’s, 5.13 is too weak in a D30 unless you don’t wheel.

Re: Let’s talk skid plates
I’m on my second Rock Hard engine/trans skid, went with the 1/4” this time. Still have my factory T-case and gas tank skids but gas tank skid is about done. I’d start with one of those and add the others as you see fit, you may not need anything else. Spend the money in decent rock rails, the cheap ...

Re: Boston Area & South Shore Mass Mechanic Recommendations
Definitely worth the trip or shipping cost to avoid the rust that these things get up here. You can recoup some of that when you sell it if it’s still clean.
