Re: Wow great day 3/14 in Winchedon, Ma
It was nice getting back out there, it’s been a couple months since wheeling for me, now I’m motivated to take mine out of storage. Nice seeing some new people out there, it’s always interesting to see how they will react. I’ve never seen anyone so excited to destroy a set of brand new side rails be...

What makes it different Randy . Dont it already come with U/L control arms ? Hows it different than a TJ ? I need to know . FjR68 Have to relocate fuel tank to behind the axle, or a fuel cell. To get the most out of a 4 link it should be flat bellied, either way all the mounts and cross members nee...

Re: Rocker steps on or off?
Saw a few JL’s out there last year, they get through it fine. It’s subjective, so it’s hard to say what your comfort level would be. You’ll make it through. Your undercarriage will get scratched, you don’t see a lot of damage otherwise except an occasional wacked mirror or scuffed hardtop, but there...

Re: Rocker steps on or off?
Personally I would go strait out or up. Those things take a beating. Going out will keep the obstacle further away from your doors, mirrors and fenders. Some of these trails are tight, especially for a 4 door, and those trees can reach out and get ‘ya

Re: Driveshafts?
Both are good choices, I’d go with whoever gave a better deal. Not sure where you get your parts but Northridge often has them on sale, usually around a holiday. I never hear of any failures on either the 1310 or 1350. I’ve read that the stock rzeppa joint is actually stronger than the 1310, but nei...

Re: Spring Wrenchfest?
That could work for me (3/15), I'd prefer indoors. Will there be anyone there with any Electrical system knowledge. This will be the first time I'm considering cutting into the electrical system and would like someone there that has either done it or knows what they are doing. to back me up... Star...

The raised shock mounts/skid is the way to go in the rear (middle picture). Gets them out of the rocks or allows them to skid over them.
