Re: Ball joint break in?
Thanks Randy, the drag link flip has the castle nut torqued and cotter pin is in place. Tie rods are also tight ( seemed so anyway) I can dump a few lbs from the tires. Are you guys going tomorrow? The issues I hear with new ball joints is that they are stiff at first, you will get them broken in t...

Re: Ball joint break in?
I had a similar problem on Carols Jeep and it was one of the drag link nuts. I’d double check those and the tie rod. Tires might be a little high too

Cool. You got the regular ones? I’d like to check them out, I want to get those for Carols Jeep. You’ll have an all new Jeep by the time you get out wheeling.

Never seen them at that price. I’d go at least regular width, you don’t want a problem during inspection

Re: Planned Upgrades to my 2012 JKU Rubicon
I’d go with which ever one you like. I don’t feel weight is an issue, I don’t think mine can be any heavier. Where are you seeing MCE for $399/set? That’s closer to the price of a pair. There are some other good plastic ones but MCE are known for being the most forgiving to abuse. I want to get them...

Yes, skid mounts between slider and frame. I haven’t done anything with my evap yet, just got the Rock Hard one from Ken, he removed it to relocate evap over the axle. I believe he thinks that’s the way to go. You won’t need the additional lift with either sets of fenders if you are doing it for tir...

Re: Planned Upgrades to my 2012 JKU Rubicon
I have the Shrockworks sliders and I know what you are talking about them fitting. They will fit fine. I don’t have the gas tank skid so I actually put a spacer in that bolt hole spot so when I do add the skid it’s gapped correctly. The MCE fenders are nice, if we ever get fenders for Carol it will ...

Re: Smittybilt 2781 Upgrades
Both my jeeps have tanks and I don’t think they are necessary if you don’t have air lockers. I do like a small one so the tank is charging between tires so the pump is not cycling. Anybody still running air tools?
