Re: purchasing a jku

Jeep doesn't offer many incentives for JKs/JKU's because they are so popular and sell so well. My main selling point was finding a dealer that had what I wanted, and was willing to give me what I wanted for a trade in. I ended up going to rhode island for mine because they offered me the most for my...

Re: Rausch Creek July 16 or 17

I'll be in that general vicinity in July also but I think it's the weekend after 4th of July. I wanted to go also, I've never been either. I'll have to check the dates, I have a wedding in PA to go to that weekend.

Re: CB Radio Mounting options

I have a 2015 JK and couldn't decide where to install, finally went with this bracket http://www.quadratec.com/products/96080_1202.htm and it seemed to work well for me, it's out of the way enough, still can see in my mirror and with a little effort I got the wires pretty tight and neat...

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .

Totally my bad, wasn't even thinking! Yes I have a jk willys edition, sorry haha. Yes daily driver for me, not doing any rock climbing but I'd like to hit some trails this spring with her.

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .

I have a willys with 32s right now, I would like something slightly bigger (isn't that always the case?) was hoping I could squeeze 34s on if I could get an inch or 2 with spacers. It has rubi shocks so I wasn't planning on upgrading that anytime soon if I didn't have to. As far as looks and functio...

Re: Let's Talk Lifts . . .

Have a quick question... Is it completely wrong if I was looking to do just a small body lift, like 2"? If I were to add slightly larger tires and went with a bl and spacers to avoid rubbing is that acceptable? I didn't really want to get into replacing CAs, TB, exhaust, ect...

Re: Vacuum pump relocation

Oh I definitely took the bumper off, that was probably the easiest part. I'm glad I got it done because now if I upgrade the bumper later it will make it much easier.

Vacuum pump relocation

Let me just start by saying that I'm not super mechanically inclined... Someone, who in all good intentions, had gifted me a bullbar for my JK which was a truly nice gesture but I'm eventually (a year or so) going to go with a different bumper anyways. However I did get some foglights to attach to i...

1.jpg Hello all, I'm new to the forum and have been looking to find some like-minded people to test my driving skills with. I've wanted a jeep for quite some time and finally was able to purchase one. I love being off-road but also wanted it for many other aspects, such as access to hiking trail he...
