BDS Suspension

Unread post by Modeler »

I had brought my LJ in to Ratchets for a FEA and a general suspension inspection. Keith noted some damage on the front axle, both lower CA mounts and the tall passenger side UCA mount are bent and the upper bushings are worn. He also noted that my rear springs were sagging.

I still had the original invoice for the purchase of the BDS front and rear 3" springs. Talked to BDS tech named Randy and he asked me to scan it and send pictures of the springs with a tape measure against one which were down to 9" bucket to bucket. Within hours of sending the info he replied back with a tracking number. My original invoice was dated 5/7/2012.

Nice to see a company that still stands by their word.

He asked me to take a similar picture of the fronts as well since they are 10 years old too.

100% happy with them.

I've had my YJ's BDS leaf springs replaced a few times under warranty. Great company!

Just the springs are BDS. When I did the Clayton I kept my existing springs in place. I'm running BDS springs, OME shocks, and Clayton long arms.
