As Veterans Day approaches each year, I always think of this short video I saw on TV before a football game a few years back. It deeply affected me, and made me realize just how much dedication and sacrifice is required from those who choose to serve . . . AND their families.

Absolutely!! Thanks to all of you in the club [and on the waiting list] for standing on that wall!!
And those in the cancel culture may not get it, but it is the unselfish service of each one of you that allows me and my family to have so many of the freedoms in our lives....including hitting the skinny pedal when I should have hit the brake coming off that rock.
Enjoy this day.
Time to go home and watch Band of Brothers, Apocalypse Now and Blackhawk Down.
