Hello fellow jeepers.

I am excited to announce my first real run with you guys at Brookridge.

Anyone been to Jericho state mountain for offroading? I wanna goo. Read its bout 20 bucks. It's 3. 5 hrs from my house so I'll probably spend a night at a local hotel motel.

welcome! Jericho is a hike but worth it. I've only walked the trails while they were being cut but it keeps getting better! maybe we can get the club to do a run with camping this year if it fits the schedule and is not already planned...

That sounds like a great plan Jeff. All our camping weekends are the best . Sitting around a campfire BSing about the day is where and how you make friends . I second it ! FjR68

It's a good idea. But just so everyone knows it has been on the schedule in years past, no one signs up and it gets cancelled. That is why it's not on this year. It is a fun place to wheel but only about a half day of wheeling if everything goes smoothly. Long trip for not a lot of wheeling.
The 3rd quarter NEA meeting is there. Members are welcome to come up and wheel that day. But for the last two year no one does.

I'm in for Brookridge, and bringing two guests from out of town who have never done this before. Can't wait to scare the sh*t out of them on a great trail! Don't think I've seen an e-vite yet, have they gone out? I may have a spam filter issue.

I read on the homepage they close down kinda early in the day... So for my ill make sure to take a couple days off from work so I can wheel 2 days worth or so without worry.

Its a state park with a sizable lot on site. Not much an issue unless you are showing up on a very busy summer weekend with a lot of other trailers.

If it's a state park, what about the not being registered or insured portion of a trailer queen?

I’m sure you could give the park a call, they should be able to tell you the answer to that.

Mark said it best . Its a fun place to wheel but very short for the drive time. RMTP , Rausch , some places are far away but its knowing your there for a couple days that makes the trip worth it.. Im told they were looking to extend the area so next year it might be worth it again. FjR68

For Jericho and Rausch no registration is required. Just trailer it in, unload in the parking lot. Trail entrance(s) are right at the edge of the parking lot.
