35" mounted

Finally had a day off to install the new springs in my Heap to fit the new(to me) 35" sneakers.
Got the old worn, saggy 3.5 " BD springs swapped out under warranty and for a few $$ more they were replaced with 6" versions. Thanks Lou. Ordered a set of 2" BDS add-a-leaf for my XJ bastard packs in the rear . I replaced the mid length spring with one I had leftover in the pile-O-stuff when added the new extend-leaf.
Got everything back together and that is when the fun started
Seemed to flex good and the front tire just barely touched when flexed

First thing was the front driveshaft.... way to short :-(

Got a new Adams high flex front drive shaft ordered and new front shocks coming to help keep the front flex under control.
With any luck all will go as planned with the installation of the last few goodies and I will get a weekend off to take her out for a shake down cruise

I'm looking forward to the bold new frontiers I can explore, more importantly without all the clang banging :-)

Don't be ridiculous, there will still be plenty of cleaning and hanging coming from your rig.
