Good mechanic shop

Unread post by DaThug »

Anyone have a good mechanic in central MA. I want to have my brakes checked and going to the dealer is always costly

I’m in Milford area.

Thanks

I always use the guys at the Hopkinton Sunoco. It is right at the main intersection between 85 and 135. They have always done great work for me. They installed a set of Teraflex ball joints for me a few weeks ago.

If you just want to pop off the wheels and check brake wear etc. I can offer that in my driveway free of charge. I am downtown Hopkinton.

If its making noise when you use the brakes , its bad enough to not drive if you dont have to. Do you have the room to do it on a driveway (Blacktop) at your place ? I have a commercial account and I would guess the brake pads are under 100 buks. If it indeed makes noise the rotors have to be dammaged somewhat, That could be 150/200. If you take it into a shop expect 6/700 buks. Crazy I know , but it is what it is. FjR68
