Hey everyone,

I recently purchased this 2000 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I had to do a major overhaul of all the suspension components( 6" x-series rough country long arm). I also upgraded the tires to 33". Put in a a new power steering pump in, and upgraded the brakes... added a roof rack, upgraded the drivers seat... winch, lights...

I plan on putting a cold air intake in at some point to help the engine breath better!

It has very high mileage... 200,000+ but the inline 4.0L 6 Cylinder engines are great if maintained !

I am looking forward to going off on trails and learning how to drive safely in the forest! I have a lot to learn this is my first jeep. My experience is very limited.

Welcome, Aidan!

X2 on losing the steps if you are going to wheel or Mother Nature will remove them for you.

Joining a group is a great way to learn to wheel. We're good at showing people how to spend money money on your Jeep but, then, you probably already know how to do that!

welcome! nice start to the TJ, that will certainly be a capeable rig on the trails. You can keep the steps if ya like but if you want to get into the rough stuff they might become part of the damage pile.

Aidan :) Welcome . I like the color ! Might need a little Blue thrown in there . Is it an auto or stick ? Got any type of traction devices (locker) ? Those will help anywhere off road. We will meet on a trail near you ! FjR68

Hey Frank, Its an automatic. It doesn't have any lockers installed. They may get installed in the future, but I am a beginner ! Plenty of time for upgrades, I still have a lot to learn. Hopefully there is an event/meet up soon so I can get out on some good trails!!! Cheers

You need to become a member first. We actually have runs both days this weekend.
