Novak Cable Shifter

One word: BUTTAH!!!

With some help from Baystate's finest, my Novak t-case cable shifter was installed. Directions were very good and the estimated time of 2 hours was pretty close to reality. Removing / installing additional skid plates added a little time and even though the install *could* be done with the front DS in? It's in the way. So we dropped it

The clunky, binding linkage was all removed and replaced with a clean cable system and new brackets. Now shifting to 4-HI or 4-LO isn't a pull-and-pray operation. There's no binding - just nice, smooth shifting. It's a huge improvement over the factory mess

I also agree the Novak is a big improvement over the stock t-case shifter. And if anyone else would like to go that route I do have one that I had in my rig prior to grenading my NP-231 and going Atlas. I will let it go cheep. say $100.00
