Trading my TJ for a Honda

Unread post by Opie »

As of Saturday, I will no longer be a Jeep  owner.

The two hours a day up and down 128 and 95 was just too much for the old TJ (and my gas budget) , so I decided to trade her in on a new hatchback while the dealers would still give me a couple bucks.

Sooo...I have a couple things left over, like a CB, two-pc soft doors, and a cheesey bungie cord shade top that I am probably going to stick on ebay this weekend. If anyone is interested in these, send me a PM.

On a side note, I hope to get back here when finances are better, and I did enjoy my few adventures. But since I haven't wheeled at all this year, and not with the club in the last three years, it was time. Thanks to all who were kind enough to show me the ropes and guide my little stocker up the right path.

It's been fun.

Just b/c you won't have a jeep don't be a stranger. I am sure people will always have an open seat and you will be welcome on any trail ride.

I could use the CB, along with the antenna and cable if you've got it. Was going to put one in the truck for jeep convoys...

I have a hand-held already, so I'm looking for a mounted one.

Sorry for the delay in replies, but it was a busy weekend. All the items are listed on Ebay, the doors starting at $250, the shade top at starting at $10, and the CB packaged with a receiver D-ring and recovery strap starting at $40. Unfortunately the Antenna and cable stayed with the Jeep, as I couldn't get the custom mount off the bumper.

Anything that doesn't sell by the end of the auctions on Wednesday, I will gladly offer up here at a club discount....of course you can also feel free to make a bid and help make my 1st car payment....there are a lot more to follow! (search for opie051699)

And thanks for the ride offers....I may inquire about that someday, but I'm a little too sad about saying goodbye (to the Jeep and the club) right now.
