short center caps

Unread post by Baseshakers »

anyone know of a metal short center cap? my new beadlocks didn't come with any, and i'm sick of bashing the tall, ugly type. i also don't want to run without them as they keep a lot of gunk out.

I modified a pair for my CJ which uses a larger diameter center cap. I imagine you could do the same thing for the XJ. I cut down the centercap with a metal saw then used a pair of lineman's pliers to bend a lip at the bottom of the centercap.
