I'm told 2 inches lift doesn't move the axle enough to mater. 3, yes. 2 no.

I dont know what 2" alone would be....

But when I first went to a 4.5" lift from stock on the WJ, it was about 2 3/4" out of center.

When I then went to 6.5" lift from the 4.5", it was about another 2 3/8".

So I stopped at Crown Automotive in Canton to pick something up. Kevin there knew a bit about WJ's and wanted to see what I was working on. He quickly determined that my drag link was worn out, but my track bar was actually nice and tight.

I bought the entire drag link assembly and changed it out in my back yard.

The test drive was amazing. Night and day. I gently and incrementally brought her up to highway speeds and over bumps. The ride was much better and the death wobble was gone.

I also installed a new tie rod assembly. I've picked up the lower front control arms but haven't put the arms in yet. As tight as everything feels right now, I'm eager to see how much better it is with the new arms.

But for now, this thing is already riding almost like new. At least that's what it seems like after the way it was handling before all this work
