A Priest and a Jeeper named Ralph both died and went to heaven at the same time. At the pearly gates, an angel greeted them and motioned to follow. They hopped on a cloud and went for a pleasant ride, smoother than Ralph had ever experienced.
The cloud stopped above some beautiful land. The angel announced to the Priest, “Here are 50 acres of rolling hills with a little cottage on the knoll. This will be yours for eternity.”
The Priest responded, “Oh, thank you so much. This I shall enjoy!” The angel dropped off the priest, and rode the cloud with the Jeeper a while longer.
They stopped and the angel pointed and announced, “Here are 500 acres of land, with mountains, trees, lakes and rivers. There is a castle with about 200 rooms. You can live in that castle with servants to wait on you, a wishing well, and an indestructible Jeep to roam your land. This will be yours for eternity.”
Jeeper Ralph looked at the angel and said, “Well now, I mean, don’t think I’m not grateful, but shouldn’t the Priest get all this? Not me? Shouldn’t I get the cottage and 50 acres instead? Just enough space to create a few dozen trails to enjoy?”
The angel giggled and said, “Ralph, the reason you get all this is because when the Priest preached, many fell asleep. But, when you drove your Jeep... people prayed!!!!”
