Usually all one needs is the signed over title to register a used trailer or car.
The VT title doesn't have a spot on it to list the purchase price (like most other titles). Because it doesn't the RMV needs a separate bill of sale for proof. It's in the mail now from the seller.
I will post up some pics though. Just need to dump the camera and upload them.
I will have the completed YJ there though

Here are the promised pics of the completed trailer renovation.
The inside before the work. Just a big empty space.
Now some shots of it finished.
The heep loaded inside ready to roll. Put in lots of lighting.
Fold down workbench on the Jeep side of the wall that was put up.
View from the front looking back thru the door separating front & rear.
Looking in the side door to the kitchen counter, fridge, stove, sink, kitchen table & bed.
Located under the platform bed are...
The power system. 3 deep cycle marine batteries & a 1,600 Watt inverter.
20 gallon water tank.
16K BTU propane furnace

I was thinking of driving my jeep up the front steps so I could get a shot of my jeep through the front door too but the Mrs. shot that idea down ! That trailer is awesome!

I just checked the tongue weight with everything loaded up for RC. TW came in at 1,100 lbs. Perfect!IronTortoise wrote:... 1, how did you check tongue weight?
2, have you upgraded the receiver on your truck? The factory one is only rated for 500/5000.

2) The truck came with the tow prop package. According to the owners manual ...
A frame mounted hitch of up to Class IV rating, as rated
by the hitch manufacturer, is supplied as part of the
trailer tow prep package. With a Class IV Hitch, you can
tow a trailer with a Gross Trailer Weight of up to 12,000
lbs (5 443 kg) maximum depending on your vehicle
equipment.
Manual also indicates that if using the just the bumper the tongue weight limit is 500 lbs.
When using a frame mounted hitch it's 1200 lbs.
I looked at the receiver but couldn't find any data plate on it.
I'll be driving solo so I'll just be taking it nice and easy.
Will probably get an after market hitch when I get back and replace the factory one.

I couldn't find good info on the tow rating for my '06 Ram factory receiver which is optioned with a tow package and 4.10 gears... An aftermarket hitch rated for 15k lbs is cheap and easy enough to just bolt on and then not worry about it.
The bumper ball mount is part of the same bracket / cross member as the factory receiver.
