Some Fall Crawl 2016 pictures

Unread post by Hoodoo Man »

Thanks to all of the BSJ folks that made it out to Fall Crawl. A number of us were on the same trail and the carnage for that run were a U-joint on a NEWJO guys rig, Dave Coye popped a few fuse in his system with a windshield cracking, a blown up drive shaft and something else. Amusingly he was back on the trail quicker than the guy with the blown stub shaft.
I put up a bunch of pics on my FB page. I will toss most of these and some more on my Photobucket later today or tomorrow.

Gotta say it wasn't quite the same with a lot of the old crew there... Kurt, Carl, Frank, Doug and Kelly and a number of other "old regulars." Dave and I gave you all a toast... :handgestures-thumbupright:

the plan for my new Jeepster is starting to coalesce and I am hoping to have it on the road or more likely trail for the 50th anniversary of the Jeepster next spring so hopefully I get out a lot more in that rig. 8-)

Great to meet a lot of new folks, gotta say I was impressed with some of the new blood, not afraid to wheel like the dickens! :music-rockout:

oh, one last note, "the quote without a story" of the year award has to go to:

I will leave them all up for a couple of weeks then pull the ones not posted down.
Funny what a difference the angle is in taking a picture... bottom looks like nothing top is more accurate...

Great pictures! I had so much fun, I can't wait for the next one.
Wondering if there's any photos of me on black without being winched? Getting my stocker through some of that stuff is not the same with a cable looped around a tree. Haha. Still so much fun.
Thanks for leading, Jeff. Thanks for spotting, Mark, Don. A good spotter is a big part of it, especially when you can't see over the hood.
