Just wanted to drop a line on the new member check in forum. I'll be joining the group at the event on the 21st.

About Me:
My name is Curtis. I'm originally from Virginia Beach, VA. I've owned 5 Jeeps. I've been off roading for 14 years though this is my first chance to get back on a trail in 5 years since moving from Virginia to Massachusetts. I had also gone 5 years without owning a Jeep. So I'm very excited to get back in the scene and discover the differences in New England off roading (vs. VA).

About My Current Jeep:
2004 Rubicon
4" Suspension Lift
T-Case Drop
35x12.50 Nitto Tires
American Racing ATX Wheels (Black)
Bushwacker Flares
Rough Country Skid Plates
Custom Diff Covers
Custom Front & Rear Rock Bumpers (with Kevlar Coating)
Rough Country LED Light Bar
Warn VR10-S 10,000lb Winch with Synthetic Line
Kenwood GPS Nav Head Unit
Infinity Speaker (Front & Rear)

Future Mods:
I'd like to finish off the sound system with a subwoofer solution but, not sure which direction I want to go yet.
I want to see how the stock Rubicon lockers perform
Hard Top for the winter

Looking forward to meeting you guys!

Hi Curtis. Welcome. Another TJ? Good looking rig. With 14yrs of off-roading background, it will be interesting to see how you like the run on the 21st and how the trail compares to VA. The run is geared towards stock rigs and new drivers but with a challenge here and there. If you are looking for something before then, maybe something a little more advanced, there is a run Saturday the is helping to raise money for the NEA land fund. Follow the link and check it out. http://baystatejeepers.com/forum/viewto ... 948#p48948

See you on the 21st.

Thanks! Yes, it's going to be quite a bit different here. The majority of my off road experience is dunes and forest trails BUT, coastal Virginia is very flat. I've done a handful of runs in Northern VA (rockier terrain). Pumped to get into the scene up here.

I'll check out the link for Saturday!

You bet! New Jeep, first time out in 6 years. I'd say it was a great day.

It was great meeting you. Abbey and I enjoyed hanging out with you guys. See you next week!
