Hello from Waltham.

Unread post by Hank »

Hey folks.
I'm Hank. I live over in Waltham MA, and am looking for a crowd to wheel with.
I drive a 2015 JKUR with some mods, and started wheeling a long time ago.
A number of years autocrossing and tracking kept me on the pavement, but I'd like to get back into the woods.

Below is a brief list of what I'm working with:

2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon "Hammerhand"
Teraflex Leveling kit
LOD Mid width front bumper
ORF Rear bumper
ACE Rock Sliders
Smittybilt X20 10k winch, with synthetic line

Other than that stuff, I'm fairly stock. Still running the stock MT's etc. I haven't really found myself wanting for a whole lot more (yet)
We've been through a bunch of the trails at LMFT, and RMTP, but mostly just riding around... nothing super crazy.

This probably looks familiar to anyone from the ENH forum, as I recently joined up over there, and learned about Baystate from a thread about the Jeep 101 you just put on. Anyway, hoping to meet some new folks, and we'll see you in the woods.

Welcome Hank, I just recently join BSJ myself. I have been Jeeping for year but this is my first club. The 101 was a really good time and the crew here is awesome. I'm sure if there is an answer to a question....it'll be found here.
Chrome? Never heard of it.

Hello Hank,

Welcome! I've been in the club for about 4 years now and you would have to look long and hard for a better club. We're quite active and, as Gary said, very helpful in lending a hand, answering questions, etc. Get yourself joined up and come to our runs. It should be a good year.

Thanks! I love the color, though I've never considered it a blue. IMO it's more of a battleship gray color, though I guess it does have some blue to it. I don't see a lot of Anvil Wranglers around, and I'm definitely glad I grabbed it instead of a Tank. I tried to find a pic that might show the color a little better:
