Welcome, I agree Skid plates are important and can save you a ton in the long run. Id say do some basics and get her out on the trails and see how far you want to go before you put too much money up.

The lift looks great, I bet that will make it really easy to get the top on and off yourself. Personally.....I have come to just setting it on a stack of pallets lol. I might upgrade to a tree limb this year to help pick it up. A winch as mentioned is really cool.

TJs are awesome Love my 97, I cant comment on 31s from my point of view, but they are def capable offroad.
