Re: JK recall for brakes
Girl I work with has had her 2 year old JK 4-dr in for random no start problems four times now. Last time it was in she was told it was a known problem in the JK. Sounds like fun!

Re: Budget Boost time :) hydro or nitro?????
OK XJ guy here but I've been around Jeeps long enough to pick up a few things. Others will chime in I'm sure. #1 A simple spacer BB with new shocks is a great place to start. Usually with TJs and XJs if you go much over 2-3" you'll start to cause drive-line issues that require more parts and mo...

Re: HELP!!!! Total newbie mechanic fan question...
Easiest way is to buy a fan clutch tool and a fan wrench (just a long skinny open ended wrench). A fan clutch tool is specific to each type of application. It is basically a flat metal "stick" that has two holes in it that you put over two of the fan clutch bolts. It holds the clutch while...

Re: Newbie...Again
That's what I thought you were referring to. I had looked there but I don't see any photos from non-winter club runs. I guess what I'm looking to see is what types of obstacles we are going to encounter. I need to know if I should install my Powertrax No-Slip before I get out. The answer I need to h...

Wow now that is a puncture! That's the biggest thing I've seen in a tire!

Re: Newbie...Again
Thanks Eve, I wrote back with a few Q's. I can't wait to get out with everyone. I already scheduled my yard sale for this Saturday so I doubt I'll be there :? I have a few things I need to do to the XJ before I get out there anyway. I was looking for a thread with pictures for some of the local runs...

Re: Newbie...Again
Hey Jeff, Were you the one that arranged the Danvers meet and greet a few years back? Anyways, we have our spring meeting this weekend on the 20th at the Skellig in Waltham. Almost all of our runs have some kind of stocker-ish friendly trail. XJs and TJs on 30s-32s can do and have done every single...

Newbie...Again
Hey all, Well I used to have an account here...you must have changed the site huh? Its probably been a year since I've been in. Anyway now that the XJ doesn't have to be the DD I can break it! :) So I'm thinking of joining again and getting out on some trails. Are there any easy-moderate runs coming...
