Cut the stock mounts out. Need to modify and fit the beefier track bar mount to accept suspension full flex.

Cycled the suspension some more and it turns out that it's hitting the top of the axle mount before fulling extending the shock. I assume the best option is to clearance and weld in a new axle bracket...

Lou at Elia's is great. They will install a quality kit and makes sure everything works correctly. They installed my lift kit when I first started and since then, I've slowly gotten a set of shop tools together, learned how to weld and fabricate, etc.

I've been running a Borla cat back for years. It's stainless, sounds throaty but not annoying and good overall.

Wow, those were some deep knuckle divots! I repaired one side on my TJ, but it wasn't nearly as bad.

Is the jeep a daily driver? Another option is to pick up a cheap used Dana 30 on craigslist and swap it in while you figure out what to do. Here's one for $25! Might give you more time and repair flexibility if needed.

If you're able to, it wouldn't hurt to pull the cover and take a closer look. You could still fill it with oil and bring it somewhere later.

Got it apart and the two shafts that are part of the lower unit are seized together. Don't see any rust so..... how did I do that?! It couldn't flex so it popped the plastic cap ends off.
