Re: Evelyn Howe

Cheryl and I had just talked about her last week, also wondering how she was and what she was up to. Evelyn was on the first run I brought Cheryl to.
We are both stunned.

Re: Broken Jeep

They probably have you mixed up with another accident. Not that that helps you. :\ Exactly what I was trying to explain to them. They didn't want to hear it. Notified my insurance co today, with specific instructions not to pay any claim from Verizon as it is based on error. @JW -Good idea,, thanks...

Re: Broken Jeep

Talked with a pretty arrogant rep from CMR Claims on behalf of Verizon. Tried to explain to her that there was no pole involved in my accident and Cheryl's accident was minor (<10 mph) and left no visible damage. We took pictures of the pole and it hasn't been replaced as they insist. Her retort was...

Re: Broken Jeep

Adding insult to injury.........got a bill from Verizon, $2716.20 for a damaged telephone pole. I got hit and Cheryl didn't even deploy airbag in her "bump" with my Subaru, no damage on that pole. They claim they replaced the pole. Liars, I took pictures. Let the games begin.

Re: Winter projects... too

Got my frame back, looks good. A few small repairs left that I missed in my excitement to get it blasted/primed: one body mount needs repair and a pair of bolts need extraction. Going with SEM Rust Shield for finish. http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z227/titaniumsteve/Shared/IMG_0813_zps91906ba3.j...

Winter projects... too

I took advantage of slow business at the garage where I work and brought my Willys in. My boss is real excited to help me restore the 3A. A little too excited  . I took a day off only to find he tore into it when things got slow. I returned to find all the body to frame bolts cut, steering sha...

Re: Broken Jeep

Figures are in... Total loss value $3700.81 Scrap value $374.82 Payout if I keep vehicle $3400.99 I know those figures do not add up. I do not trust them, since they first quoted scrap value at $2416.00, I laughed out loud and told them the decimal point was off. They called back with the figures ab...

Re: Broken Jeep

@Rob, Other insurance Co is Hartford Casualty Ins. I don't have collision so my Ins. agent told me my company won't go to bat for me. Hartford Casualty has told me via phone that they are accepting 100% liability. Police at the scene, other driver had 2 passengers, no citation issued. Filed a claim ...
