Re: Bent axle or axle shaft?

It's for Pat Charron's JL. It's getting a mild spring & shock lift.
Bob may be doing the same to his rig that day too.

Re: Bent axle or axle shaft?

A Wrenchfest is in the works at my place. Tentatively on 6/16.
You could bring your Jeep and the two new seals and some new gear oil and we can pop them in for you.

Re: Bent axle or axle shaft?

I suspect what you have is a bad passenger side axle shaft seal. They do wear out and quicker for us that use our Jeeps off road and in dirt/mud/water. Re: 54" Trail Jack Help/Suggestions

Either you can buy special clamps to mount it to the roll bars or you can make your own out of a couple of exhaust pipe clamps.
If you find the 54" is too long simply cut it down to the desired length.

Re: Cb radios v FRS

Correct. A CB radio cannot communicate with a FRS radio. They operate at vastly different frequencies.
The hand held FRS radios that 99% of clubs member use is a Baofeng UV5R. About $25 on Amazon. Great little radios.
I have 4 of them.
