Re: Can you install a Rubicon locker in non-Rubicon axle?
I have heard of it being done, but I have no firsthand knowledge of it. There is a thread on JF that shows the install and modification of the bearing cap (the airline goes in a notch in one of the caps).

Re: GAJR write up in CRAWL! FRANKY!!
I haven't picked up my copy yet as well, but I did see the issue that Frosty had with him at the NEA meeting. At least half of my rig was in the picture....

Re: JeepLife05
Welcome, I remember when my LJ was that shiny. Very nice looking rig, I liked the way the Toyos worked on the trail and if they were not backordered when I purchased earlier this year would have been on my rig again.

Re: winch accessories
I get the 3/4 and 7/8 shackles from the local farm supply for about $12-14 /ea. It's call Klem's on Rt9 Spencer and isn't far from the private trail that's near me. I love Klem's! My brother lives in Sturbridge and I go there whenever we are down that way. That said, I got mine at Mckittrick's Hard...

Financial trouble, not a quality issue. Dom said they are only building to order now.dizilbdog wrote:What is going on with OX? I have one seems to always work fine. Can you tell me more about these troubles OX is having?

Re: Front locker question
When my factory Rubi front locker blew on the Ian run I talked to Dominic about options. FWIW, He tried to steer me away from OX as they seem to be having troubles right now. He is not convinced that they will be around much longer.
Re: New Tires
I had them prior to the Coopers I have now. Plain and simple, I miss the Toyos.

Re: Xfer skid options
I'm running the Rokmen TT and engine skid combo. High quality and has stood up well so far. The engine skid is designed with long arms in mind if I ever get to that point too (probably sooner than I think ).fortyfour wrote:One word - Rokmen.
