Re: Gascap and now CEL code
OK, so went through everything I could myself and then reviewed. Other than a wire that seemed "Loose" there is nothing visibly wrong with any tobes/cables, etc, I sprayed the hoses and Evap with very soppy water on a hunch, hoping that maybe a bubble would form, Nope. so I went back to th...

Re: Gascap and now CEL code
Also just cleared the codes, and changed out the cap, gascap code came right back.
Crawling upder to see if the hose has visible issues.
Update: no visible issues on the hoses/no dry rot etc. Did notice one of the electrical connections was a little flimsy but looked connected.

Re: Gascap and now CEL code
I replaced my gas cap with an after-market Locking one. I'll try to OEM one (if I can find it, LOL) and see if that fixes it. I'll crawl under her in the afternoon, to see about the hoses (which I think is at least a plausible probability). The first mods I did to her were Skidplaces and Evap Armor ...

Gascap and now CEL code
Does anyone ever get this? I got a gas cap warning last night, and this morning it popped a CEL. I checked online and it says it could be the Evap hoses. I'm thinking that it may have popped a hose because of the very high heat (tank pressure from expansion) and that it may have ruptured a hose. Doe...

Re: Best 1 Tons to get (Not Aftermarket, Built ones)
I'm already on a 2" stretch both front and rear (had to for the 38"s), so shouldn't be a problem. Can always go an additional 1 in the rear to open up a little more...

Re: Best 1 Tons to get (Not Aftermarket, Built ones)
Plans are to definitely to Wheel. Where I will need to pick up new wheels, the width wouldn't be too much of an issue as the new wheel backspacing can be modified to compensate a bit. They are going on a big heavy JKU so lightness isn't too much of an issue. Would be doing Artec Trusses (or some oth...

Best 1 Tons to get (Not Aftermarket, Built ones)
So What are the best ones to get? I may have a deal on a set of 60/sterling 10.5s from a 2006 F250. I was told to get Axles from 2005 and newer because the outer front stub shafts are already 35 splines to match the internal shafts (under 2005 is 30 splines?). Would that be the best combo to get? or...

Re: Paint shop recommendation
I have a guy here in Clinton (Mike Z Customs/Clinton Tire) and he does some great work. Not sure what he'd charge, but if you tell him that Bob Hood recommended him to you, I'm sure he'd try to get you the best price he could...
