Re: New member
Welcome Scott! Good to see another older rig on the trail, though, I don't recommend following Kurt or Dave until you have a blatant disregard for body damage and zero mechanical sympathy.

Re: New Member waiting on delivery of our Jeep!
Welcome to the show! From my limited knowledge and 5 minute google search, it seems the anti-spin is just another way of saying limited slip. I'd be curious how "locked" together the rear wheels get. Maybe it's legit, maybe not. I'm not sure. I always recommend new members and new jeepers ...

Welcome! Glad to see another TJ joining up, but I’m definitely biased.
With the lift you have, definitely skids are next. I’d dragged my TJ through many places on my skids, a worthwhile investment.

Re: JK
I'd run an aftermarket shock like a Bilstein, these usually have better valving then stock and can provide a nicer ride. If it's a stock suspension, not else can be done. Do a chalk/grease test on the tires and verify proper contact patch and adjust psi from there. Is it a 4-door or 2-door?

Re: Currie Antirock vs Rubicon stock Disconnect
I’d go the cheap route and install disconnects, or like Mark mentioned previously, a manual conversion but teamed with proper length cheap grease-able links for your lift.

Re: Need some help?????
I don’t see anything about balancing the tires. Death wobble has so many different variables it’s always hard to pinpoint it, but it can be as simple as an out of balance wheel or tire. Spend some money and get them Road Force balanced, it’ll apply a load to the tire when balancing that better resem...

Re: Anyone Running Cooper SST Pros?
For Bob's question, I'd go with the 37 (36.77" actual) Cooper STT Pro as another "inch" of tire diameter won't make a huge difference vs the Milestar 38 (37.8" actual). I like the tread pattern better for the off-road traction. As far as Dan's question, the better a tire is off-r...

Re: Engine Replacement Help
Aw man that sucks. Can’t say what it’ll cost, don’t know how hard it is, but as a guy who failed an engine swap on his own, just price it out through a shop. It could be cheaper to have a rebuilt engine put in that comes with a warranty for both parts and labor. If a shop won’t warranty it, they don...

Help out a guy who doesn’t know anything about these radios, FRS or GMRS, is there a benefit to do this if I only ever use it on the trail with BSJ? How does this open up the radio for alternate uses?

Re: Another Wait Lister that has joined...
Welcome! The winch line type question is like tire size, there are discussion points on all sides, I'm sure people can chime in, but the best type is one that is installed and functional. I'd urge you to start looking into protection of the undercarriage, skid plates as much as possible. Especially ...

Its not advisable to wheel alone, familiar trails or otherwise. Not even the Class VI stuff.
