I've got one of these tucked into the net near the stick shift. The glass hammer might not be useful with a soft top, but the belt cutter could come in handy.

Re: Smittybilt 2781 Upgrades
I used to have one of those pumps and actually liked it a lot, except for the non-standard sized valve. I also modified mine, but did not go so far as to put the pressure switch in. I used to let it just pop the safety valve if necessary. It would reset as soon as I reopened the hand valve, so I did...

Re: Why not start the discussion. Rausch Spring 2020
I might be able to go even if it stays on the scheduled dates. I now know we're not going back to school so I have a better idea of what I'm going to be doing that week. Since everything is online, I can do what I need to do while in PA. The only wildcard is graduation is that Friday. But that might...

Re: Smittybilt 2781 Upgrades
Anybody still running air tools? I've got a 2.5 gallon tank built into my tool box for air tools. I've got a small variety of tools including a 1/2" compact impact wrench and an angle grinder. I decided to put that in several years ago when we were at Rausch and Jason needed to work on his Jee...

Re: Smittybilt 2781 Upgrades
I've blown out a few hoses as the pump gets very hot near the air outlet on the pump and the constant pressure build-up does not help I am sure. That's why I have a stainless steel braided leader hose on mine. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0727SWTL5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&...

Re: Why not start the discussion. Rausch Spring 2020
If we could move it back one week I'd be in. My last day of school is the 15th. Graduation is the 12th. I could do the 17th-21st (or any other weekend after that.) Jason might be able to do that week, too.

Re: Let's have a friendly contest!
Combine Matt's state and text with Randy's grill concept.
Maybe we should have a friendly contest to rename the club in case FCA gets upset with us. Maybe Jaystate Beepers? Baystate Joopers? Baystate 6+1 Slotters?

Re: Gas tank skid
I opted for a skid that is mounted on top of the old one. When I did it there was no rot. I'm absolutely sure there's plenty of rot now, though, especially since water and mud gets trapped between the layers. At the time I figured it was easier (it was) and it would be double-protection (it basicall...

I'm guessing that's providing thermal overload protection? If we can figure out who made that part you can probably find an equivalent replacement.
BTW, if you use "full editor" option, you can attach files this way:

I had a lot of fun, too. So glad to see new people not afraid to scrape the bottom once in a while. (Or bend a step or something!) I can't wait for this virus thing to pass so we can get out again! aGOPR0036.JPG avlcsnap-2020-03-14-20h44m42s256.png avlcsnap-2020-03-14-20h31m52s706.png aGOPR0069.JPG ...

Lol, I just posted these in the members section. EDIT: As an added bonus for members, I included a link to a Chirp file for people to use if they have the means. Also, if you need someone to program your radio for you (USB-programmable radios only) you can contact us and we can do that for you at th...
