Re: Driveshaft Wrenchfest

Agree on a lift making it easier, especially with your rig having the engine skid. Did those rounded / shaved bolt heads on the skid ever get taken care of? Probably not a 3 man job but I might hep if other stuff is added to your list

Re: April 2nd Wrenchfest

Drive shafts were pretty straight forward once someone read the directions and figured out the proper torque for them. We then found out that Kurt can apply 160lbs of torque with two fingers. New exhaust took a bit of time to go back in, there was some grinding and press work needed and ult...

This is still on right Josh? Wasn't going to bring tools, unless you think I'll need them?

Re: Winch Question

I think I'm going to add a 3rd. The Warn M8000, Its seems reasonably priced. Just a little concerned about the 8000lbs. Thanks Ralph, Thats what I like about the steel winch options. 8000 lbs? Plenty of pull for a Jeep, IMO. I beat the snot out of a Smittybilt 8000 XRC for years, it never let me do...

Re: 2012 Exhaust Extensions

I've read numerous times in these forums that Spicer joints seem to be preferred. I have no experience with Spicer drive shafts but all my u-joints are Spicer. Made the mistake of going with no name u-joints and they sucked. Replaced them with Spicers Again, no personal experience, but I hear JK ba...

I'll try to bring my 1" x 8" x 33" alignment kit 8-) I use it to set toe in, and it's pretty accurate. Not bad for two pieces of wood and a couple bungee cords

I have the Banks Monstah and really like it. Cat back, easy install, similar to what you have - a little growl but it doesn't drone
