I wouldn't worry about the initial amp draw.

Personally, I skip the probes and do a switch with a light. At any rate, you want to be able to shut the fan off for water crossings by interrupting the negative side.

Amanda - evites received! access to member section good too! requirements for wheeling have been rolling in. recovery straps came today. hopefully i dont embarrass myself and find myself needing them on the 12th :) -g Accepting a strap should not be embarrassing. I'm predicting your next mod for off road will be free and I'll present a choice for you.

A. You can remove those steps now with tools and sell them.
B. You can wait for a trail run and remove the steps with no tools and dispose of them afterwards.

TJs need a flat belly, IMO. I see no point in lowering something (skid plate) to add lift. SYE and drive shaft w/upper adj rear control arms first. Then 1" body lift. Then motor mounts or MM spacers. The flat belly. (A flat belly on 33s is better than a stock skid under a tJ on 35s.) Then a 4&q...
