Re: New guy needs help!

Depends how far you plan on going with wheeling. If getting into harder stuff on 38's you are pushing 44's.

Re: Trailers

Get pictures in next few days.
I believe the car trailer is 84
The enclosed is 8'6 outside. My buggy is as wide as it gets and squeezes through door with half inch to spare.

Re: What tools to replace a u-joint spider on a Dana 44

If you don't have the socket you can still remove the shaft and bearing together. Pull the inner and reinstall. Saves a step too.

Re: What tools to replace a u-joint spider on a Dana 44

Some had 36mm early on.
some had 35mm. tj was 36
I know some aftermarket come with 36mm.
Spider?
If by spider you mean the joint usually if it breaks you destroy the shaft and are just removing the inner to get off the trail if don't have replacement shaft.
13mm to remove bearing.

Re: To spool or not to spool

Pros less parts to break and cheaper Cons wants to push you sideways but you get use to it. The yukon zip locker I believe fails locked. So does the arb comp one. Handy if your in a poopy spot and compressor or line shits out. Whatever you do if you are planning on big tires stay away from e lockers...

Re: New Brakes going into my '13

Can those banjo fittings be flipped up instead of down? Those brake lines are an accident waiting to happen like that if you wheel it.
