Re: Another Spinnah
Carl, I do believe the bolt is a 10x1.25mm.
Thread pitch doesn't really matter much as you'll be needing to get a new nut (and make your own retainer out of heavier steel and real welds).
Just make sure it's at least a grade 8.8

Re: Another Spinnah
You end up accidentally welding the bolt to the spinner yet  Worst case (been there, done that) is you grind the head off the bolt, spring the track bar and lower part of the bracket out some for clearance then have at it with a sawzall and the proper length blade between the inner part of the ...

Re: a little whining..
Amanda, Was the engine spinning over on the XJ or was nothing happening at all when you turned the key? If the engine isn't turning over it could be a bad starter solenoid, bad starter relay, bad ignition switch, bad neutral safety switch (automatic trans only) or a "dead spot" in the star...

Re: sheet metal- for TJ
Amanda, on the plus side, your rust area is above the floor pan and in a spot that's a single layer of steel. The down side it's also a bit under where the wheel well and rocker meet. Super straight cuts aren't important! The neat trick is to cut out the rusty area from the outside of the Jeep. Then...

Re: sheet metal- for TJ
For the inside, I'd say just go to Lowe's (much better selection than HD) and pick up a piece of heavy gauge (16-18ga) sheet metal. You can also patch that outside spot with it then I'd suggest ordering some kind of rocker "armor" from Quadratech, 4wd Hardware, etc.. By the time you're don...

Here's a couple pics of what I did on my XJ with some J...
