I have a pair of Bestop soft doors in Khaki Diamond (olive/greenish), uppers and lowers as well as a 7" square drivers side Rugged Ridge mirror with a mount that attaches to the lower portion of the windshield frame hinge. https://i.postimg.cc/FHJcwxfF/Doors-and-mirror.jpg Two weeks and then th...

Re: BDS Suspension

Just the springs are BDS. When I did the Clayton I kept my existing springs in place. I'm running BDS springs, OME shocks, and Clayton long arms.

BDS Suspension

I had brought my LJ in to Ratchets for a FEA and a general suspension inspection. Keith noted some damage on the front axle, both lower CA mounts and the tall passenger side UCA mount are bent and the upper bushings are worn. He also noted that my rear springs were sagging. I still had the original ...

Re: Anyone Running Cooper SST Pros?

I've run the 35x12.5x15 on my LJ. Liked them but they got very loud near the end of life. Balanced and rode well on the road, no issues on the trails/mud. Not the best snow MT I've run, Toyos were my best in that regard.

Re: Rausch Creek 2021

Just noticed that the calendar has Rausch listed for June 16-20, which is Fathers' Day weekend. This trip can be planned for whenever by who ever is going. I pretty much follow the past years schedule so dates are within a few days of past years. Was not a criticism, was just a note to those planni...

Re: Rausch Creek 2021

Looks like I am probably out of both this and Wheeling for Warriors. Work travel is getting in the way. MLB is holding its first ever Combine and my company is sending me to set up our equipment and stay available through the event. Will know for certain in a week or two.

Re: JKU Oil Catch Can

There is plenty of crankcase pressure just from down stroke. I will agree may be more on a worn engine but There is plenty of oil in the valve covers on a good engine.. I have catch cans on my buggy because even on off camber oil comes out breathers and it makes a real mess on rollovers. If your ri...

Re: JKU Oil Catch Can

During the power stroke some of the gases escape past the rings into the crankcase, this pressure has to go somewhere and works its way up into the valve covers. Oil picked up by the gases goes out through the PCV valve to get burned. Worn rings, more pressure, more oil pushed into the intake system.

Re: Rausch Creek 2021

On the last several trips, most have cleared out on Saturday anyway. Most likely going and then to Wheeling for Warriors the next weekend.
