Tighten till you break them then back off a 1/4 turn All I do is with a tighten them with a 1/4in ratchit as tight as I can get them with a 3/8 not that tight more leverage with the handle The only thing I torque on the jeep is lug nuts + the skid plate at the same torque

All the tires I had the MTRS are the best allaround tire for road + rocks + mud
For off road Nothing comes close to Swampers IROKs bias ply 36x13.5x17
For a 36in tire they are 1 1/2 inchs taller than my 35in MTR mounted on the jeep both with 25 psi in them

Carl 1/16 I set mine at a little more like 1 /8 but thats how it tracks straight At 1/16 it pulls to the passenger side with everything on my steering a little tweaked Im very happy it goes straight with no wobble after i set the toe I dont worry that much about the boots They get replace yearly any...

I had that same issue with my rear shock brackets ( My brackets are even with my rear axle they dont hang down ) I had a 3 /16 plate welded to the axle around tothe bottom of the shock mount It covers the whole shock mount So it welded on 3 sides Its lasted 2 years of being hit hard neve bent at all...
