Re: Limo service?

Thanks Nick [and Kevin]. 9 person limo booked with Above All. Always great to support club member companies.

Maybe we should start a thread for such businesses.

Cheer.

Limo service?

That time of year.....high school proms/banquets.

Anyone have any good (or bad) limo experiences and care to provide a recommendation? Looking in the Acton/Concord MA area.

And just to be clear, I am not talking 4-door Wranglers here.

Thanks ahead of time

Re: Metalcloak Skid Plates

Have had a full set of MC skids, including FAD and diffs for two years now. The benefits of their protection to me far outweigh the extra rinse time I give them after wheeling in the mud. That said, I do not see much left over fill on top of my plates Admittedly, I power wash my rig off and touch up...

Re: Carpenter or Builder with CSL and Jeep needed

Sounds like an awesome opportunity! I think so but am biased. As others in this industry will tell you, there is a huge shortage of young men and women entering the trades. Unlike was done decades ago, very few high schools teach basic mechanical skills (e.g., wood, metal and/or auto shop) to encou...

Carpenter or Builder with CSL and Jeep needed

This thread's description states we "can talk about anything here" so here goes. If not appropriate, please delete/move. And truth be told, you do not need to own a Jeep but why else would you be here. Additionally, having a Jeep shows you have good taste which is important for this opport...

Re: From TJ to JT

The aftermarket retractable top looks sweet and it does not leave you with rear window still closed. Wonder if you can retract it while doing 59 mph. Factory option disables at 60 mph.

Re: From TJ to JT

Nope. Retractable option only available on the JLU. No place to put in on the JL or JTU FYI, while wheeling Battlegrounds the pushbutton top came in handy on multiple trails where the sagging trees were attacking those whose tops were off. Open when I want. Close when I want. 8-) And No. It will nev...

Re: From TJ to JT

Nice. Could that be another Granite Crystal Rubi in the club? Akos proved the JT can hold its own on the trails. Even the tight timberline and rocky ones.

Re: MA Fender coverage

I’d fail Mike for his push-bottom retractable sunroof  Touché Lisa. I just got an update from the dealer. Day three with rig and still could not solve either problem. They believe, however, that my Flashcal programmer is causing the battery drain problem and want to charge me $250 for having t...

Re: MA Fender coverage

I did not have any issues passing last year and do not anticipate any problems this year. My dealer request was just one of convenience "while you are at it". And at the end of the day, if I do not pass, I will rectify whatever needs to be done to pass. This is why I still have my original...

Re: MA Fender coverage

Yeah. Trouble shooting incompetence aside, I guess I was hoping they were more interested in being mod-friendly and selling Jeeps than mini vans. Yet another newb lesson learned. If they give you grief, go to a different dealer. The only warranty work I had done was a bad coil replacement, but Acto...

Re: MA Fender coverage

BTW, for those that have Tires outside the wheel well of their Jeeps. Here is the law as written in MGL 90-7: "Every motor vehicle or trailer, excepting passenger motor vehicles, operated in or upon any way shall be equipped with suitable guards which will effectively reduce the spray or splas...

Re: MA Fender coverage

An older post but have to share, Had my JLUR for two years now with over a year on 37's and 2.5" lift. No problem with MA inspection last year at local, reputable gas/mechanic station. Brought it to local Jeep dealership to have some WARRANTY work done. The same place I purchased it. Not only c...
