Re: Anyone Running Cooper SST Pros?
They look great. Been real happy with my 35 Patagonias. 38s are quite large but the Jeep looks awesome.
By the way, what to you have on there for fender flares?

Re: “Looking for adventure…
Been a little while… I left on Thursday starting my trek to Hurricane, UT. Spent the first night in Winchester, VA. Today I drove to Nashville. 3-4 more days and I’ll make it to Utah. So far so good. Really looking forward to 4 days of wheeling in Utah! I’ll share with you guys my videos once I get ...

Re: A little boost for my lift?
Following up…1” spacers arrived this week. As I was rereading my lift instructions (since I was basically reinstalling it) I saw on page 2 under recommended modifications , “if you are install a winch, you may wish to add a 3/4 inch spacer to compensate.” I had totally forgotten about that since I d...

Re: A little boost for my lift?
So I spent today installing a new heavy duty crossmember. It’s never as easy as it should be with a 13 year old Jeep. But, got everything installed and the skids back in place. While I was working, I remeasured the front and checked on the rear. Both are sitting at about 1 1/4 inches. I spoke with a...

Re: A little boost for my lift?
Rancho recommends (and provides) the bump stops with the lift if you run 35s. I was running 33-34s so never installed them. I think they were intended to prevent fender rubbing. When I switched to 35s this fall I heard a LOT of rubbing on some rides at flex. I then switched to flat fenders to preven...

A little boost for my lift?
Hey folks, so I've been spending a fair amount of time under Jonathan (my 2009 JKU) over the past month. Also been wheeling every chance I get. So despite adding 35's this fall I've been feeling it is running a little low (not enough ground clearance). I bought Jonathan in Jan of 2020 and put on a 2...

Re: “Looking for adventure…
Thought I'd give a little update: I registered for the Winter 4x4 Jamboree last week. I guess I'm heading to Utah! Taking a week drive each way and hoping to his a few off-road parks on the way there and back (Arkansas and Indiana). We'll see if the weather cooperates and if I can find groups to hoo...

Unfortunately no. I want to, but my wife and I set that weekend as our final camping trip of the year. I will be on the Turkey Run class vi, though.

Re: “Looking for adventure…
Check out the jeep badge of honor trails, that might be a nice goal to hit them all! It's on my 5 year list, I just need to shake some of the kids off the budget so I can afford to go lol. I’ve been checking them out. Rausch has a good number of BOH trails. There’s one in NH and a few in North Caro...

Re: “Looking for adventure…
Yeah, Rausch advertises as Friday - Sunday, but mentions that a group (2 rigs) can come during the week if they call ahead and there is “availability”. I’m definitely hoping to go t9 Rausch in Dec and/or February. I may do both. If no one else is interested I’ll hook up with a group through their “c...

“Looking for adventure…
and whatever comes my way…” So I’m taking a three month leave of absence from work (Dec-Feb) and I’m looking for some wheeling opportunities. The club is pretty dormant during these months so I’m hoping we may find some time for “unscheduled” rides either on Class VI or private properties. I’ll keep...

Re: Sold-JK method wheels with 315s qty 5
I’m guessing I’ll have rub. I plan on going flat fenders soon, but need to let the pain of new tires/wheels + new spare tire carrier die down a bit. I had a budget…and overspent. Give me a few weeks before saying, “honey…I think I need new fender flares…”
