Re: lowpro mount
I went with the rubber to match the stock rubber mm...... I've also found that matching motor and trans mount materials is a good idea since one (rubber) gives alot more than the other. I tried twisting that lo-pro mount and the design seems VERY sound. Looks alot different in person and seems very ...

Re: lowpro mount
I have both the Lo-Pro and Ultra High Clearance skid sitting at the FD waiting for install. The mount is beefy to say the least, and skid is uber-light at around 50lbs. Matt at Undercover Fabrication is great to work with too, which is always a nice change.

Re: Budget Boost time :) hydro or nitro?????
AFAIK the regular TJ and TJ Rubicon had exactly the same coils front and rear, I have a 1.25" BL w/ 1" BMML so I could clear the TT.

Re: New Rubi from old wagon guy
So, TJ and I fit his old Jeep Medic Belly Up on the Rubi.... the played in the dirt piles behind the shop. Found out that a stock Rubi on 35's flex's pretty well considering. So far so good, I can stuff F/R with minimal "rubbing" up front.

Re: New Rubi from old wagon guy
Some little updates with my new wheels and tires.... 15x8 Procomp Xtreme Alloys wrapped in 35x1250r15 Radial Pitbull Rockers... No balancing and not a vibration, bump, and almost NO NOISE. The noise that is there is similar to an old fashioned Prop-Plane on final approach. http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.n...

Re: Metallurgical madness
If dremel doesn't work Carl, I'm right up in North Reading and can whip the tire off and replace the valve stem for you.

Re: New Rubi from old wagon guy
Yeah, fast toys are cheaper than big toys for the most part. I had an '89 Mustang that was pretty stout too. Here's a pic of it outside the FD today....

New Rubi from old wagon guy
Well, I was a member when I had my Cherokee, took a hiatus to build a VW Gti and Buell 1125R (needed speed fix). Now I'm getting back into wheelin with a new toy. Bought an '04 Rubicon that was babied from birth. Decided on a LCOG build at the most extreme. 35's w/ NO suspension lift. Did a body lif...

Re: New Tube and Coilovers!
JP the black one is mine that I bought about 3 months ago, the silver one is TJ's that he has had a little while longer.... Mine is going to be a DD/Trail Rig while his is a little more serious than that. All I have added to the black one so far is a JKS 1.25" BL and a 1" MML so I can use ...

New Tube and Coilovers!
Well, new Tube for me and "a" new coilover for TJ! Since lifting my new"ish" rubi like my old '01 Chero was not an option... I have decided to make space for bigger meats and running a nice, low rig this time around. Throwing TNT/TREKS Tube fenders/rocker/full corners. Got primer...
